Camps Bay: Cape Town's tourist high

Just a few miles south of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in central Cape Town, Camps Bay is to Cape Town what Santa Monica is to Los Angeles. Besides having a beautiful white sand Atlantic beach, the oceanfront is lined with restaurants, shops and places to stay.
The area is backed by the Twelve Apostles, a rugged line of high cliffs that makes a stunning backdrop for orange sunsets. Camps Bay is a great place to toast a beautiful city, but it made it hard to leave without regrets as we began the our Garden Route driving tour the next day.
