The U.S. Bureau of Land Management will be spending $32 million from the federal economic stimulus program on projects in Oregon.
The money is part of a total of $305 million going to BLM projects around the country, and $3 billion to the U.S. Department of Interior from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
BLM says the money will go to 60 projects in Oregon, including construction and maintenance, habitat restoration, roads and bridges, trails, abandoned mines, renewable energy authorization, capital improvements and administrative support.
